A little message from our founder...
"Hello!
My name is Elle and I am the owner of Be Vocal Speech Pathology.
I have always had a strong passion for paediatric communication and have loved working in private practice for the past decade. However, after having children I developed a strong interest in early language development. As such, I made the difficult decision to close the doors of my two clinics and am now solely focused on supporting children with communication difficulties within the school setting."
Elle holds a bachelors degree in Speech Pathology and has experience working in rural and remote communities as well as working with children with a range of disabilities. Elle has a keen interest in Autism and language development in primary school aged children aged 4 - 11 years old. Elle has extensive experience working within school settings and enjoys working as part of a holistic team to support families, teachers and other allied health practitioners.
Elle is a current Certified Practising Speech Pathologist registered with Speech Pathology Australia. She is trained in Lidcombe (the gold standard therapy approach for stuttering in Australia), Sounds Write (an evidence based literacy program). Elle is PROMPT trained (oral motor therapy approach) and also has training in DIR Floortime (Play and relationship building in children with Autism) and uses Hanen therapy approaches (an early language development therapy approach).
Elle is an enthusiastic therapist who keeps learning fun and motivating for her clients. She works closely with families to ensure a well-rounded approach to therapy so that your little ones are able to reach their greatest potential.
Please note that our Kwinana clinic has recently closed. Be Vocal currently provides therapy services at a school site in Canning Vale.
